The God of War.... I am always victorious!

Why am I the most qualified candidate?
Because I am a Maverick. While I am technically very, very old, the fountain of youth has kept me young. I have recently announced my VP, Eris. While not qualified, she will still aid our country in its current war, and many wars to come after what our current president has done. I have experienced war and will fight for this country.

My personal story:
My name is Ares and I am the Greek god of war and battle as well as the instigator of violence and bloodlust. I am the son of Zeus and Hera and was always detested by the other Greek gods, even my own father. I am the embodiment of strength; I am always victorious. My family directs warfare. My sister, Eris, calls forth war and Zeus guides its path. I, on the other hand, merely love war for its destruction, death, violence, slaughter, and the bellows of battles. Though fear, violence, and horror consumes me, I still love Aphrodite. I have gone against my father for her and even lent her my personal war chariot. I went as far as killing Adonis, whom Aphrodite loved, because of my jealousy and killing Halirrhotius, the son of Poseidon, because of the lust towards my daughter Alcippe. My children Phobes and Deimos fight alongside me. I also am the father of the goddess of harmony, Harmonia.

I have played a part in many wars, including the Trojan War, of which I am well known for the part I played with aiding the Trojans. For most of my battles I have also been accompanied by a few other gods, Deimos and Phobes (the spirits of terror and fear), my sister Eris (the Goddess of bloodshed), and Alala, whose name became my battle war-cry. One main thing that is said about me is that I found the city of Thebes, where my son, the water dragon was killed by Cadmus. This is where the Spartans, my descendants were created.

To my Roman people,
I am known as Mars, the son of Jupiter and Juno. I am the father of Romulus and Remus. Therefore, I am honored the Roman people consider themselves “sons of Mars”.

My stances:

The War in Iraq
-Not only do I greatly support the war in Iraq, I believe we should continue our path towards fighting Russia and Iran. In all actuality, I would support a World War III. With me guiding America just as I guided Greece and Rome in war, we will be victorious in all wars.

Society
-I believe society has become too weak. Our men should be born fighters, they should be willing to die for their country at all costs. Bring back the draft!

Abortion
-Abortion is wrong, it is an insult to our country. Fighters are just thrown away instead of being raised to kill our enemies.
