A PIECE OF HIS HISTORY
As you can see above Hephaestus was the son of Hera and Zeus. But the myth was not that Hera and Zeus conceived him, but that Hera alone conceived him parthenogeneticly meaning he came to be without a male contribution to the process. So he was not born of the couple but of just Hera. Although Hephaestus did not bear any children but in turn he did create many inventions which in many cases are thought of as his children; some of which play a great role in the other god’s and hero’s myths. For example he makes Zeus’s mighty bolts of lightning and his scepter as well. He also created Athena’s aegis and the flying chariot Helios rode. Another great example is the invisible armor for Achilles. But his greatest creation he was ordered to make by Zeus. The invention was of course the first women, Pandora whom he made from clay and had bestowed with many gifts from the other gods hence the meaning of the word Pandora which is all gifts. Aphrodite gave her beauty, Apollo music, Hermes persuasion, and the list goes on. But the most significant gift was in fact from Zeus who gave her a jar in which contained all the evils of the world.

BACK GROUND INFORMATION
I am Hephaestus the ruler of all technology, I have three names the first is of course Hephaestus the second is Vulcan and the third is Mulsiber. When I was born to Hera and Zeus and when I was born she wasn’t happy with my appearance because I was born with club feet pointing backwards; so she threw me over the edge of Olympus. I was found by the, Nymphs, Eurynome and Thetis I lived secretly with them for nine years in a subterranean cave. When I was with them I made a chair that had invisible chains that locked up any one that sat in it, and I am the only one that can release them. I sent this to my mother and she only saw a beautiful chair that ended up locking her up until she called me up to release her from the chains. I also made Zeus his thunder bolts and Achilles his armor to name a few of my great accomplishments.

MY THREE PRIMARY CONCERNS
First we need to all have the latest technology like new computers and other advanced electronics for every one. We also need to do something about reducing the greenhouse gases that we are making when we generate the electricity to power all of our toys.But my biggest concern would have to be the internet. I know that’s not one of the major topics all the other gods are talking about but it’s one of the largest problems that is drastically under acknowledged. It has all this capability’s and is being used for the most minuscule things like Tube, useless facts and mini-games. I admit it has a large amount of other uses that are helpful and essential to are modern lives like e-mails, re-search and a variety of other things but worst of all, I get absolutely no credit for the invention of it. Seriously, I am the god of technology and I get no recognition for the number two technological advancement to the date, the first being electricity of course.
