ANGEL H My stressed out life

The year was 1950 and life was great well at some points it was there was good days and there were bad days. I lived in Memphis Tn. I was 15 when all the trouble started. At the time I was doing bad I started to hang out with the wrong people and I did this to take all the stress away. I started to hang out with the greasers and they did lots of crazy things. There were bands that we liked bands such as Johnny cash, Elvis Presley, chuck berry and little Richard there are many more. The crew and… Continue

Krystal T. B. Choice #1

Sitting, sitting, just sitting with those four walls. Those four screaming walls. That's all I had ever done, all fifteen years of my life, sitting with those walls. sitting with the family. The family did other things, while the entire time all I had done is sit. Sitting, watching, listening. I was there but never truly there all at the same time. Until that day, that day something happened that got me thinking. I didn't even know I could think, thinking was only something I had heard of never… Continue

K.D.R. Choice #1

As the days drag on, so does my life. My life continues to be nothing more than routines and false accusations I make about others around me. What more is there to life than to go on and suffer quietly? The sound of parlors ring from each house as I pass by on my way home each night from work. Is this really what life has come to? To people sitting in a cave whose walls dance so vibrantly with color? Maybe it’s just how society has been trained to deal with their pain. Maybe they can’t handle th… Continue

Tyler .N. Assignment Choice #1 My stressed out life

Hello fellow people my name is John Smith I am usually very stressed out over many things that are very hard to explain. To escape my stress I will usually go outside and go walk around until I find someone to talk to this usually makes me relive a little bit of my stress and gets some anger out of me. Usually the things that stress me out in life are me being bored in life and not being able to go do what I want to, people who destroy our town and burn our books so that we can’t even expand our… Continue

Jonathan P. Will Digital Information Eradicate Books and What is the Danger of Living in that Society?

Lately it seems more and more magazines aren't selling their copies at newstands, drug stores, etc. and are now posting their information on websites. Do you think that books/magazines will be eradicated from being published and be put on websites to view from your computer? Also, what are some dangers that could come about if no one was able to read a book in their hands and be only able view the information online? What would happen to our society? Continue

Koryf Kory Feath Period 6: Xaiver Brown

Xaiver Brown Ah, the pain, the pain of such a lifestyle as mine deserves such equal and opposite reliefs. You have no idea what I just suffered, but where are my manners? My name is Xavier Brown and I pilot one of the thousands of bomber jets that patrol the city. It seems amazing to me that people have gotten used to them, as they still rattle my brain inside them today, but even that subsides to what I have just witnessed, what I have just lived through. It all started this morning when my pa… Continue

Its the same thing. Same routine over and over again.I wake up, get dressed, eat, go to school, come home, eat, and then sleep. I never really have time for anything else. Nor do I want to. Why make my life more hectic then it already is? No point in being stressed out even more. Id probably be sent to the asylum, don't want that. So I think that for the time being i'll stick to my routine. My simple stressing routine. Its not event the routine thats stressfuf. Its the people that I interact wit… Continue

Gracie G :] Assignment Choice #1 Blog My Stressed-Out Life!

I met Guy Montag today. He came to my door to ask if I was the person who called about my neighbor, I gladly responded, “Why yes!” “Well, this is the fifth complaint call you’ve made within this week about all your neighbors having books stowed away.” Guy replied. “Oh really? Well, it’s true they all have books stowed away in their attics and basements.” I quickly replied. “How do you know? Have you seen them?” he asked. “Well, what is it to you if I have or haven’t!? Isn’t it your job just to g… Continue

jeremay ..my stressed out life...

Brandon Mullaney was my name as I was walking down the street with paved roads almost of sand. I’m not one to talk much. I can’t hear most people for the Seashell was so dense that light bent around it. I would be walking and people wouldn’t help but stare at how I could put up with the music drowning his eardrums. When I first put these in I would say it was my way of destroying the stress. If I couldn’t hear anybody then I couldn’t talk to anybody. Not talking, results in no stress from not k… Continue

Claudia C. Fahrenheit 451 Blog: That One Kid

What’s my name? Oh you could just call me that one kid. You see my life is much like everyone elses. No one really knows anyones name unless your family, otherwise your just that one person or in my case that one other kid. I don’t take it in a bad way anymore because i'm use to it. Besides it’s a surprise if you get noticed. Most of the time we human beings are in our own little worlds for different reasons. I like to go to the local car shop and steal car parts to be able to attach to other pe… Continue

Collan J My Stressed-Out Life

Everyday people in this world live their lives not actually thinking, they are just spacing off in their own little world. The only thing is that were not allowed to think, with all of the commotion and different things that are thrown into our lives, we struggle to use our minds to the fullest extent. We use our minds very little, and it’s sad. The government tries to prevent us from thinking by burning books, books in my eyes aren’t even that bad, but they get us thinking about them. I have br… Continue

Jazzie B. My stressed out life---By Jazzmine Bowe P.2

In the dark room is where I sit to get away from then that’s what I do. I sit alone to get away from everything that is stressful. I sit in my dark room. I shut all the doors and windows, cover every crevice and crack with old black construction paper, or news paper. I close all the blinds and turn off all the lights. I lie on my bed and close my eyes and think, I just think about what I do every day. I get up, take a shower, eat, go to school, come home, do home work, eat and go to sleep, again… Continue

Craig H. My Escape

Craig H. Period 4 My Escape Our world is one of just pure entertainment. Now this may seem like a good thing, but it was just horrible. Just imagine a world without sadness and in return causes things like happiness to stop existing. We do have all these theme parks and also giant televisions but it is just to cover up the truth that these people should know. The cruel fact is that these people are depressed. For myself I cannot stand this society, everyone is like oh what a beautiful picture at… Continue

Troy G BLOG MY STRESSED OUT LIFE!

It was a horrible day today because my next-door neighbor was caught with about fifty books in a secret room behind a bookshelf. They were found by a fireman by spinning a world globe, and immediately after the books were found, the fireman took a match and threw it inside the secret room and all over the room. Its was so awful because it was just so hard to breath from the ashes because it burnt down about half of the house. It was about 451 Degrees Fahrenheit outside because there were about t… Continue

Lizet R. Chemistry Teacher Rockin' Out

"Ring." The end of our break bell rings. Everyone scatters all over the place to their fourth period class. A group of students were on their way to their chemistry class with Mr. Duston. They all sat in their assigned seats. There was an assignment written down on the white board. However, in order to complete the assignment the students needed a chemistry text book. The first student that went to get a book from behind the white board was a student named Marina. She slid the board to the left… Continue

Lindsay B. My escape

I’m so sick and tired of this waiting. I’m just sitting here waiting for them to come and burn me and my books. I want to run outside and start screaming at the top of my lungs to have them come and get me, but I can’t. I can’t let them have my books. They can’t have them. You there, Mr. Fireman, how do you feel. You burn books, and are you okay with that? You aren’t burning things though; you’re burning people’s lives and souls. I bet you didn’t know that. You probably go home each night and wa… Continue

Juliar Blog 1, May 19: My Hell-hole of Happiness

Something about this place has always seemed to limit the quality of my life. Perhaps it is the people; though I can’t say I’ve ever truly known a man in my life. Then again, maybe it’s in the air. The constant, suffocating odor of kerosene looms in the skies like death, like murder, like fire. Yes, fire. Everything seemed to revolve around this joyful element didn’t it? Happiness. Fire meant happiness. For without fire, what would we do with books? Read them? For what purpose; to gain knowledge… Continue

Trevor My Stressed Out Life

Ugh! Today was the worst day of my life! It all started when I wall watching my wall screens (I only have two and this infuriates me to no end already), when I found that they decided to cancel my favorite show. I mean how messed up is that? The only show I really like is gone, because I had no TV to watch I had to sit there and do nothing until it was time for work. Finally it was time and I had to walk all the way down to the end of the street to use the shuttle. The shuttle was of course behi… Continue
